The Alella Project

The Alella Project is a site specific exhibition opening on May 6th in the village of Alella just outside Barcelona. First visit to Alella yesterday.. we found an old deralict mansion that used to belong to the Count and is now abandoned. Beautiful and magical, a kids paradise. Dusty disused church pews, mosaic tiles, spiral staircases, huge open banquet halls with ivy woven windows, late afternoon sun casting shadows through stained glass. The most interesting and intreguing place I have stumbled accross here.. a secret forgotton paradise.
